the prospective The Wholesale/ B2B Leader will be responsible for:
Create the strategic framework for the project, including human planning, commercial
operations and economic performance evaluation
● Define main partners on the market to explore potential future opportunities and
sustainable collaboration with them
● Facilitate online & physical integrations, automating or outsourcing time consuming
processes where possible
● Report to the project's governance committee, providing insights and recommendations
into business opportunities, performances, and to align the wholesale activity to the
global strategy
● Represent the company to the partners, including regular meetings with each partner, as
their referent for the company
● Develop professional and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in partner
businesses, and build inter-company relationships between stakeholders on both sides
(logistics, IT, finance etc)
● Diversify risk to the wholesale project by multiplying partnerships with several
companies
● Negotiate favourable terms with partners and sign contracts for new partners and
additional business models with existing partners
● Lead the development of wholesale catalogues/offer and curation of product ranges per
partner, considering all key factors (availability, margin, relevance, customer etc). Work
directly with the commercial team and internal brands when possible
● Analyse performance per partner at product level, considering availability and pricing
● Functionally manage the commercial & supply teams on sourcing products from internal
brands and production
● Review the economic performance monthly and forecast activity for the coming
months/years
● Monitor the performance, identify alerts and propose solutions
● Recruiting and training the team, anticipating needed resources
The preferred candidate for the Wholesale/ B2B Leader role must have:
