Traditionally a mkhukhu is a prefabricated hut, generally made from steel. The Mkhukhu room is not like this but we like to name all our rooms something significant to South Africa.
The Mkhukhu Ext 1 can take 1 traveler /longer short term guests, it provides storage, spotless facilities and the opportunity to meet fellow travelers. The room shares a communal bathroom with the Mkhukhu Ext 2 and is cleaned daily. We have a communal room (Shed) for cooking and watching DSTV.
