History of Glotron The business was founded in 1991by the former owner then still a student studying and selling clothing part time.Today GLOTRON is a marketing company with four branches, and our own clothing factory in Potchefstroom. one factory in Potchefstroom, “Bushmen Clothing” and we use various other factories in Parys, Johannesburg, Durban, Newcastle and Pretoria to manufacture the clothing. “Bushmen Factory” was started in 2002 together with Daan and Susan Kershof. About 40% of the clothing of GLOTRON can be made by this factory, and it is still growing by tremendous rate. The factory’s aim is to create jobs for the previously disadvantaged people.Boomerang Embroidery Boomerang Embroidery started in 2003 when Glotron decided that we should do our own embroidery instead of doing it in Johannesburg all the time. An Industrial embroidery machine was bought and we have grown into a huge business with various machines and running 16-18 hours per day.Printing - Sublimation printer- Digital Direct to Garment printing machine. First in SA.- Can run small printing jobs at affordable prices.Products Glotron has two core business product lines nl: clothing and corporate gifts.Clothing:GLOTRON specialises in the supply of corporate wear, bush wear, sportwear and leisurewear. Through Bushmen Clothing we have the advantage to design corporate clothing according to the customers wishes. Through Boomerang Embroidery we do inhouse printing and specialises in embroidery. If we cannot make it or supply it from local sources, we are able to import various products when time allows.Corporate Gifts: Products range from locally produced handcraft to imported products.
