To properly care for and train believers so that they will grow to maturity and become spiritually alive and active in order to build up and add to the welfare of God's family who will learn to help, serve and minister to others. To build the ministry as a strong city with walls (denotes it's strength) and gates (represents the various ministries that will emerge) which will minister to the needs of the body of Christ and the community as a whole. (Nehemiah.) To edify the body of Christ, to equip God's people for the work of the ministry, to unite in faith, to grow in quality, quantity, stability and integrity so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
