PROLOCK LOCKSMITHS - Roodepoort

I feel so unfortunate to have come across this company when looking for a locksmith. They trade under the following website: www.pro-locklocksmith.co.za and the person sent out to my home's name is Shaun Debbe. I am not sure whether he is a real locksmith as he is also an estate agent with Remax which is abit confusing to begin with and probably explains his skill level.

Pro-Lock Locksmiths came out as I had lost my keys, and they had to change the lock. What followed was an absolutely shoddy job. The door wouldn't even close when Shaun was done, so I had to call him back 10 minutes later, at which point he admitted that he had "USED THE WRONG SCREWS". He also claimed that the door had magically outgrown the doorframe, and wouldn't accept that he hadn't done a proper job. Today, not even a week later, the lock mechanism is almost falling out of the door. I called to complain at which point Shaun swore at me and told me that "HE KNOWS WHEN A CUSTOMER IS TALKING ********!". Nice. He then proceeded to slam the phone down in my ear. I wouldn't go near this company again, they are unprofessional, swear at their customers and do a half job (not even!!). My door lock is ruined and my security compromised. I would honestly advise that you shop around and DO NOT use This company

I left a review of Pro-lock Locksmiths on Hello Peter, and upon being upset that I had lifted the lid on their incredibly bad service and bad attitude, Shaun Debbe then took it upon himself to make a threatening phonecall to myself, calling me "unprofessional" (amongst other things) for lifting the lid on the Pro-Lock Locksmith debacle, while shouting at me down the phone (Which he once again put down in my ear). I felt so threatened by this ranting phonecall that I informed the security in my complex never to let Pro-Lock Locksmiths into the complex under any circumstances whatsoever. I felt attacked and threatened by Shaun Debbe who felt it was okay to try and intimidate me on the phone. Once again I must reiterate that you should not use this company unless you want intimidation and an extremely bad service on your hands.

I have attached photos of the damage done to my door when he installed the new lock, he hammered away at it, chipping it irreperably and causing the door to split. The actual lock itself is bent - upon pointing this out to Shaun Debbe I was called a liar - and was then told that it was due to me slamming the door. (I am a girl of around 70kg, not sure a GUY weighing double what I do could bend a lock by slamming a flimsy wooden door?)
