I had the grave misfortune to stop at Montevista North on my way back from the Berg to JHB. The men's room had no water supply, there were plumbing supplies scattered all over the floor - I was enormously embarrassed to discover I could not flush the toilet and left hurriedly. I may have left my shoulder bag hanging on the back of the cubicle door. This contains my wallet and cell phone. When I tried to call Caltex Montevista to establish whether my property had been handed in I discovered the landline number was inoperable, found a cell number 087 997 1263 and was asked to ring back 15 minutes later. Surprise! No answer. I am in no immediate hurry to ever use a Caltex station again.
