My name is Estelle Prinsloo. At the age of 10 I was diagnosed with a virus in my cornea. I only received a cornea at the age of 23. One year later the virus was back in my new donor cornea. For the next 3 years my doctor tried everything to kill the virus with no success. The condition got desperate in a matter of 1 day as my cornea rupcherd and my doctor was on a conference over seas. In a matter of 24 hours I almost completely lost my vision. My doctor revered me to doctor Stander. It has now been 2 weeks and doctor Stander has performed a cornea transplant and my sight and my eye is saved.

Dr Chris Stander has been my ophthamologist since 2011 when I was admitted into Milnerton Medi Clinic on the 03/05/2011 with SJS TEN. With his excellence and knowledge in eye care he took on the greatest challenge in treating the damage and burn that was done to my eyes. Everyday and on countless occations every 30mins he entered my ward to tend to my eyes. If it wasn't for Dr Stander I would definitely be blind today. He is one of the GREATEST people and DOCTORS I have ever been blessed to have on my medical team. I thank God that Dr Chris Stander was at my aid.
