Metro-Chem was started by Mr. and Mrs. Singh in 2003 and the business was originally operated as a Sole Proprietor. At that stage Metro-Chem operated only on a part time basis, but due to the company’s huge success and substantial growth it necessitated them to register a CC during 2006 and to become VAT compliant. Since the second half of 2007, Metro-Chem has experienced constant growth.
Metro-Chem’s Product range consists of different types of chemicals for both commercial and residential. Our Chemical products include degreasers, hand cleaners, waste rags, anti freeze, pine gel, toilet paper, furniture polish etc.
Metro-Chem is also suppliers of a wide variety of safety products. Metro-Chem only buys from the most reliable suppliers, who are direct importers of safety products

Administration of the business is handled by Mrs. Singh and her husband Mr. Singh is responsible for the sales and marketing of the business and its products. It is this hands on approach by the owners that assures that the business runs smoothly at all times and that Metro-Chem’s customers receives only the best possible service.
On the current BEE scoring system our business is 110% BEE, Level 3, compliant.
With the current emphasis on safety in the workplace, our products and service can assist our customers and potential customers to comply with basic safety regulations. We believe that too many accidents happen in the workplace and that PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.
