Quality control
You people do realize we all have to work hard in order to make money to live and it's very disappointing when I person go's in to one of your stores and get rotting meat,fruit,vegetables and bread with green Mos growing on the bread this has happened in a number of stores now and it does not seem to be a problem for Woolworths and workers. Because when you bring it to the management's attention thay just inform you to shop elsewhere and not a Woolworths so that is what I will do now and I will let everyone on my food blog no not to shop at Woolworths as instructed by your works

Closure of credit card account
Quick to open an account, but absolute poor service when requesting closure of an account. Charges continuously added to prevent closure of the account. All channels failed to deliver on my request.

Terrible company
Your head office is useless, I can't talk to anyone regarding the status of my account. I arrange for a debit order payment then Woolworths stops debit orders for no reason then the next thing I know is that my account has been handed over MBD attorneys. So I must pay MBD and woolworths. My question is why must I pay MBD? I never stopped any debit orders.

I've been calling head office from morning, my calls just gets cut off. Woolworths is disappointing.

Terrible service
It has now beenmore than a week that I have tried to getbhold of a competent person at Woolworths financial services with a clear line or a competent person at MBD the useless attorneys based in Jhb with even more incompetent people to get back to me regarding a settlement on my Woolworths black credit card. I was offered a settlement last Wednesday at 10:54 for a specific amout, which changed on Monday. Out op pure desperation I just paid the amount via my banking app into the ABSA acc that manages the Woolworths credit cards.
I still have not received any confirmation on this big amount of money or anything else and have absolutely no idea of what is going on.
Please help!!!!

Shocking lack of service
After 9 days of asking via emails and the website I still have NO contact or feedback from the relevant person/s at WW for a query regarding WW's own brand of Beauty products which are always out of stock, only platitudes that someone'will be in touch'. Clearly WW isn't bothered about selling these products, so I won't be buying in that department again. Such a lack of interest, no one takes responsibility to give me any feedback despite my repeated requests. Seems you don't need the business, so I'm taking mine elsewhere.

"Exchangeable items not even worth 1 cent"!
My husband and I had a somewhat disappointing and confusing experience with Woolworths in Baywest. My husband received a gift from his grandmother in the post for his birthday which consisted of 2 pairs of shorts from Woolworths with the tags still attached. Unfortunately the shorts were hopelessly too big so we decided to take it in to Woolworths to exchange them for a smaller size. When my husband had found suitable items to exchange for the large shorts he was told that they can't assist him as the shorts had been removed from their system a month prior. We asked what does that mean and were told that because the items had been removed from the system, "they aren't even worth 1 cent" and that they refuse to exchange the items. That seems like a very bold statement for a retail store that constantly boasts the best quality in everything that they sell. I'm somewhat confused by the statement that was made, what does that tell us about the quality of the items they sell to us, the public, if THEY DON'T even want it back. We have received gifts of clothing in the past from other retail stores and have never had any issues in returning the items provided we still had the tags. Yet, Woolworths refuses to assist us. My husband phoned their head office to complain and was told that he should have brought it back a month earlier. Have I missed the latest news, has the time machine finally been invented?!?!? I checked, it hasn't sadly... Perhaps Woolworths should change their Customer Care department into the captain hindsight department. At least you would know what to expect before attempting to contact them. Let me save you the call, their response is "We can't help you". My advice for people who STILL shop at Woolworths is to not purchase a gift for anyone who is on the other side of the country, be kind and purchase a gift elsewhere where customer care does exist, otherwise the gift you purchase might end up being about as useful as an ice cream toaster. From what I have seen in other Woolworths reviews, other people are getting fed up with their lack of customer care. This Woolworths in particular downsized recently, yet they still make no attempt to provide a pleasant shopping experience. Sadly, many businesses have closed due to the effects of the pandemic. Are these the signs of the last days of Woolworths? Perhaps, we'll have to wait and see. One thing I know for certain is that we will no longer be supporting Woolworths due to their bipolar tendencies and self-focused, questionable policies. We would rather support other small businesses and retail stores that know the value of true customer care.

A Very Very Exceptional Customer Service...
I went to Woolworths HAZELDENE PTA last week Friday and i ordered few items online which the store didn't have a sufficient stock on, But Fortunately I came across this young man who is valuing Customers to the extend that he can go out of his way to ensure that the customer always get what they looking for in the Store and always give alternatives to customers and ensure that the customers leaves the Store happy and satisfied...this Man Called THEO assisted me several times in the store, he is an Asset to Woolworths...i Recognize THEO for his Very Very Exceptional Customer service and Experience. I can say I really love THEO...KEEP up the Good Work THEO you going far with WOOLWORTHS...Take care THEO

Impressive customer service at cedar Square
Was at woolworths at cedar, the was that lady at the till she was so helpful and gave me an impressive service when I wanted a cluten free bread, she finished scanning everything packing well and offer to go pick some bread for me, I was so happy about her service, people like her deserve more and more, thanks to lerato seduda

On line shopping
I have done 7 online shopping orders.1 order every week for 7 weeks. Kei rd farramere staff were fantastic. Polite friendly helpful good service when collecting my orders. On each order there were items not available so not delivered. I understand that. It states on the invoice I received the items not delivered. It states that we will not be charged for those items. When I phoned customer service they said we would get z refund in 7 to 10 days. 34 items up till now need to be refunded.... 8 weeks later still no refund !!!! Absolutely SHOCKING service. We shop at woolworths on a weekly basis... empty promises from customer service staff... where to now!!!!!
