Terrible service
Having numerous issues with the store today I was treated with the utmost disrespect by the staff member as well as the manager. They lack professionalism as well as humility. I will be making sure these posts are public and that everyone knows this isn't the store to support.

Pathetic Service - Mintys Midrand
Just been to Mintys Midrand. The service is shocking. I was served briefly then was kept waiting for over 20 minutes with no customer being attended to. The agent by the nane of Ebrahim kept going in and out. It was when I moved away that he motioned me to come forward to which I told him that I was nolonger going to buy but will wait for the guys to put back my tyres. The shock, as he shouted and told me to get out of his store. Couldn't believe how such a business has survived. It is one thing to be service inept but it is another to be that bad mannered. Shocking

Fitting 5 Year Old Tyres as "Brand New"
Mintys Umhlanga has been fitting 5 year old manufactured tyres under the pretence of them being brand new. They do not disclose this information and when I tried to lay a complaint and have an investigation opened, I was told by the very arrogant manager Mohammed, that it is Minty's company policy to fit 5 year old tyres!
In a period of 2 years I have had 6 running tryes replaced, due to unusual cracks on the surface and 3 inner wall cracks.
Never I have experienced such unethical, deceitful, scrupulous, cunning, unprofessional, daylight robbery from such a large multi-franchised company. The boldness to be this dishonourable is incomprehensible.

Worse than poor service at the mintys tyres next to the Glen mall
I bought a tyre after one month the tyre bust on a freeway I went for the complaint they took the tyre promised to contact me after 14 working days they didn't bother to contact me when I go to ask them nicely the manager gave me attitude he just walked away

This is by far the worst experience ever. I purchased 4 tyres at Mintys Rosebank. the job was completed on my car at 16:00 pm. at 08:00 while driving i felt that the car was driving in a way i am not used to.
I parked the car and realised on inspection that one of the wheels i had bought less than 24 hours ago had gone completely flat and on the rim. i called the rosebank shop and notified them, that its barely 24 hrs and i already have a flat tyre. i insisted that an person from they shop come as i did not want anyone touching the tyre that were last worked on by them. we assessed the tyre and on inspection, no tears, or damages was found and this was confirmed. i took images of the tyre before it was taken in. they called and told me that they saw a small tear taking out air and that i must have driven over something. i emphasised again that there was no tear or nail or stone and asked that he send me a picture of this. after a delayed period of time i was sent an image of the tyre with a pin weaved into the side. this was described as pothole damage and the reason why my tyre was flat. i took pictures of my tyre before it was taken, no where on the side was there a pin weaved into it like a stitch. how is it possible that on inspection, nothing was found and after they send me an image now there is a pin in a visable area of the tyre which the guy and me could not have missed on inspection. i have images of my tyre and there is nothing in there. They guy who assessed my tyre is being asked why did he assess the tyre in front of me! why not? i insisted that he do it because i needed proof of the condition of my tyre to validate anything i could be told after the tyre was no longer in my possession. long story short: after i refused to pay for another brand new tyre, my tyre was returned back to me. THE GUY HAD REMOVED THE PIN THAT WAS WEAVED INTO MY TYRE. IF YOU FOUND A PIN IN MY TYRE, WHY DID YOU REMOVE THIS PIN? THIS SAME PIN THAT WAS NEVER THERE WHEN I SENT MY TYRE THERE!!! I FEEL TAKEN OF ADVANTAGE OF AS A FEMALE BECAUSE I LACK THE KNOW HOW WHERE CARS ARE CONCERNED! I CALLED THE HEAD OFFICE TO ESCALATE THE MATTER AND WAS TOLD THAT I CANNOT ESCALATE MY ISSUE BECAUSE THE OWNER AND HIS SECOND IN COMMAND ARE JUST NOT AVAILABLE. I ASKED FOR AN EMAIL AND THE PHONE CUT. I CALLED 3 TIMES AFTER THAT AND THERE WAS NO LONGER ANYONE PICKING UP CALLS.
