The Africa Rally - Benoni

The Africa Rally is an annual charity road trip held by Africa Rally Group, starting in Hartbeespoort South Africa. Any vehicle can enter, and it sees teams from around the world raising money for their chosen charities, while driving 4,500kms across sub-Saharan Africa. The two possible routes are the Challenger Route, which sees teams leave Hartbeespoort and cross into Botswana, before heading into Zambia, then Malawi. From the half way party here, teams head north across Tanzania, finishing on the banks of Lake Victoria in Kenya. The other possible route is the Discovery Route, which sees teams turn south in Malawi, before driving through Mozambique and back into South Africa finishing just outside the Kruger National Park near Malelane. The event takes three weeks, and both routes are priced the same.
