Poor customer service
The Courier is one company that claims to be excellent or the best when it comes to delivery. As a person that manages an online based business, I can be able to say that they are not.

They are fast when it comes to delivery of packages. But when it comes to customer support, they are extremely poor.

1. We have had many packages go missing with the company but till today we have struggled to get proper feedback as to what really happened to some of them. All you get when you can for assistance is one person passing on the problem to the next.

2. We had an incident where by we got a call from the post office in Jeppestown from a lady by the name of Maria Mahlangu. She had received a package from one of the post office delivery guys who was doing his rounds. The package was a sealed waybill of a parcel that was collect from our shop by the driver Victor. Apparently they dropped it "by mistake" in the street. If it wasn't for the delivery guy from post office, the Courier guy would have claimed that the parcel was never picked up from our premises. I know this cause it is not the first time a package was collected from our store but never made it to the depo.

3. When it comes to claims on missing packages, till today we have not received even 1 payout. We even resorted from having a direct account with the company and used a company called uAfrica, to our surprise their prices there are much cheaper as compared to when you have an account with the Courier guy directly. But still, they lost some of our packages and till today, not even 1 has been paid out. You will argue with them on the emails and phone calls till you give up. Mind you we spend over a R******** a year on delivery with the courier guy but they can't even pay for a package that costs less than a thousand rands.

It is sad that such a company that claims to be good at what they do can fail at something as simple as customer care but they love it when you book deliveries through them.

My advice, threat carefully with company.
