Wierda Glen Estate was developed by ABSA DevCo during 1999 – 2000. It consists of Rooihuiskraal North extension 16 and erf 1076, Rooihuiskraal North x 14. Natural parklands of more than 10 ha form the heart of our Estate. The slogan that was used in the initial marketing of the Estate: ‘breathe deep, breathe easy...’ is especially relevant when strolling through the parkland areas. The first residents moved in during 2000, and today the Estate consists of 762 levy contributable households of which 408 are full titles & duets and the remaining 354 homes are situated within sectional title complexes. The Estate offers 24 hour controlled access and currently has its own dedicated armed response vehicle to assist in security or medical emergencies.
