Lectures and Study Days will be presented on subjects including but not limited to Oriental Rugs - Art - Antiques - Miniatures and Dolls - Books and Bookbinding - Architecture - Jewellery - Porcelain - Food - Fakes and Forgeries - Interior Design and Decoration - Music - Literature - Film - Gardens - Antique Glass - and in fact any subject relating to the fine and decorative arts! Lectures are held at 19h30 on the fourth Wednesday of each month except for December and January. The JH Barry Lecture Theatre, SA Museum, Queen Victoria Street, Cape Town - Unless otherwise advised. Entrance to certain lectures is limited to Members only. Guests are welcome at other lectures on payment of an entrance fee. The same guest may not attend more than twice in any year.
