The response and feedback from this business is appalling!!!On three occasions I took in tools for repairs. Every time I was promised that I will be contacted telephonically within a day with feedback. Every time I had to call back or visit them after a week of no response to hear excuses and more promises but still no response. In the end some tools of the tools were not repaired and the one that was were assembled incorrectly. On another occasion I needed consumables that was out of stock - same promises, same lack of response.

Sorry to hear of this. Not too sure if you have had contact with me directly and if not please contact me. We pride ourselves in our service and pricing. Also as a result of our low pricing, we only contact a client if the repair quote exceeds the cap as set by the customer, otherwise it is our request that the client calls us to follow up. We typically only make R20 to R100 profit (Not even including our overheads) per repair on average. We do this so that it makes it worthwhile for consumers to repair their tools (As opposed to continually purchasing new tools). If we had to keep contacting clients, we would in fact make a loss and close our doors and there would be almost no option but to go directly to the manufacturers (With their turn-around times and pricing).
I really do not think this is unreasonable. On many occasion as a result of the quote, clients even decline the repair - we do not even charge them a stripping fee (Except if it takes longer than 20 min). Our turn-around time is also considerably less than everyone else in the market (Even OEMs). Regarding parts, we are unfortunately at the mercy of the suppliers - they may have had a stock issue, or do not deliver to us.
If my staff said they would contact you, I sincerely apologise - as this is NOT our procedure (As motivated above and as per stated on our Job cards). We have hundreds and hundreds of satisfied customers. Many have returned over many years for our excellent, personal and economical service.
