Founded from the inspiration of exploring and imaginative mind of wanting to create or turn what we see to reality. Established in 2008, City of Gold, Johannesburg by Belvy Udi. Currently responsible for the creativity, daily running of the business. For Belvy being born and raised in Nigeria was a contributing factor, as he was fascinated by rich culture of Nigeria; the food and the style of dressing. It was his uncle who would go on to introduce the young Belvy to fashion, along with support and guidance of his father. And at a later stage the pursuit of growth in the fashion industry would then see him travel down south to see through the dream of being a designer. And having spent most of his adult life in South Africa, Studying the style of dressing in all 11 cultures the country

consists of, he knew he had a lot to contribute in the industry through a combination of Nigerian and South African touch. Only a matter of time 'Belvista' brand would then be conceived, to starting off with a project working alongside House of Ole putting Fashion shows, and dressing high profiles such as Muzi Mcdonald, Lufuno Dagada and more. Through that he would build relationships which would later be our loyal clientele. And within the 8 years as fashion brand, we have successfully grown to a wide range of designs which include Corporate wear, Graduation attires, Wedding Attires(White/Traditional wedding), Track suits, Gold T.shirts, including other services such as Embroidery. Our understanding of clients and experience comes with delivering on time and meeting the clients needs. We operate with a team of tailors who are dedicated to the art, and always ready for anything the client requests of us.
