BASIC FIRST AID & CPR
First Aid is always a good skill to have even if you are not working in a medical profession. We offer a thorough, Basic First Aid Course which includes CPR Training, Treating Burns, Fractures, Wounds, Bleeding, Legal Implications, Ethics and more. This course will leave you feeling confident in your ability to treat basic wounds.

This course is commonly presented over the weekend. It is popular with large awareness groups such as schools and community organisations and covers the important basics, while maintaining relaxed atmosphere.

Our lovely training venue has facilities for your kids and family, so bring them along with you, while they swim, picnic and enjoy the outdoors - you learn!

FIRST AID LEVEL 1
Level one is a very popular course as it introduces learners to emergency care and equips them with the skills to apply and practice basic first aid. Duration is 2 days.
It is usually the minimum requirement to be met by companies when being inspected by governing bodies such as the Department of Labour.

FIRST AID LEVEL 2

The level two first aid course is much more comprehensive than the level 1 course. It goes into more detail, e.g. Treatment of Paediatric patients. This is a 3-day course.

This is our recommended first aid course, as it equips learners with an extensive knowledge base of first aid, and will ensure a high standard of patient care.

BASIC FIRE FIGHTING (4 hours)

Our Basic Fire Fighting training course is a predominantly theoretical course with the practical component in the form of discharging an extinguisher without a live fire “Dry Run”. Uncontrollable fires have devastating effects and if not extinguished in the ignition phase.

Our courses are aimed at preventing fires, creating a prepared environment and building confidence when faced with this unexpected emergency.

FIRE FIGHTER 1 (6 weeks)

Intended for any person wishing to pursue a career as a professional fire fighter.

FIRE FIGHTER 2 (4 weeks)

Intended for any person wishing to pursue a career as a professional fire fighter.

GRASS AND WILD LAND FIRE FIGHTING (1 day)

Intended for any and all personnel who are called upon to fight grass and wildland fires.

INDUSTRIAL FIRE FIGHTING
PRELIMINARY LEVEL (5 days)

Intended for all employees who respond to fires, or are appointed to serve on a fire team. These include those employees responsible to respond to a small fire incident beyond the capability of portable fire extinguishers, those responsible to assist Emergency Response teams and local authorities with fire incidents, those responsible to do basic fire safety standbys at potential fire risk operations, and employees identified to serve on Emergency Response Teams.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (5 days)

Intended for all employees on a fire team as a progressive course towards the Industrial Fire Fighting - Advance Level.

ADVANCED LEVEL

Intended for all employees on a fire team or proto team. It is recommended that the entire fire or proto team must attend as a unit.
