Pathetic service and repairs by AUTO ALPINE BOKSBURG
I took my vehicle in for a small fuel leak that was meant to cost R3000 suddenly my coolent went the price went up to 16 000 and now my radiator and several other things wrong when my CAR WAS PERFECTLY FINE... LIGHTS THAT NEVER WENT ON ARE NOW ON AND VECAUSE IM A CASH PAYER BMW TREATS YOU LIKE SHIT... I LOVED BMW AND ADVISED MULTIPLE FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO CONSIDER BMW BUT WOW THIS IS PATHETIC

Very dissatisfied in my 2 year brand new BMW
My car is not even 2 years old and it has been in the workshop more often than in my garage. I do not know where it was assembled but every month something else goes wrong with it. I have been driving BMW's for over 40yrs and always only driven and bought BMW. I would like BMW Germany's opinion on a car which is always giving problems, which is Brand new. For a callable car of this at the over half million rand worth, I am in shock and dismay.

Not happy with BMW RUSTENBURG
Our car had a engine coolent problem and was fixed in March, in less then a months the car had the same problem, they took it in and did pressure test now the cooled is literally licking and they expect us to pay for repairs that was not done properly, I think we are being ripped of for their own failer

BMW Financial Services - Customer Services department "in meetings"
Call centre agents not authorised to escalate unless you send an email. Management "in meetings" and unable to take calls. 48 hours later and no reply or feedback...

Been dealing unsuccessfully with call centre for a month - same response as above and same experience. Completely refuse to give contact details of anyone above call centre agents to whom you can speak. Can get NO HELP obtaining my NATIS original certificate on a vehicle paid up years ago - STUCK WITH A CAR I CAN'T SELL and have committed to a new vehicle.

Refund
I have not received my money back from BMW joburg city auto, I submitted my documents 15 days ago to date they don't care about processing my refund.It may be seen as a small amount to the company but to me as an individual im in distress and in urgent need to get my funds back.

Corli van der Westhuizen's shocking service
The said lady started attacking me verbally as soon as I booked my car in for a second service in 11 days because the electrical person was not working on the day. She verbally abused me as customer for absolutely no reason. When asking about the key battery she threatened to keep the car overnight. Now, BMW if this is the kind of person you appoint to destrot your brand, you have been successful. Such lack of inter-personal skills helped to destroy Menlyn BMW for me. What a sad case she is.

DISHONESTY AT BMW ARC FOUNTAINS
My vehicle was in for repairs at BMW Fountains ARC pathetic service my car went 3 times back as job wasn't done nycly iteam was stolen from my vehicle and they say it's not there responsibility I am so sad I gave my car in trust to them thinking they are bmw I hope someone at bmw head office can assist me

Poor Management skills
I purchased a used car from bmw Kimberley. I drove the car for 1 day and returned it to the dealership as I encountered problems. After 4 days they returned the car in the same condition. On the 6th day we returned the car due to the fact that we had the same and more problems.
The DP Mr Landman called us in and without giving us a chance to explain or expresses our disappointment immediately said he will not cancel the deal.
What also made me more frustrated was that Mr Landman accused us of looking for excuses.
I wish to be refunded as it is our right according to the CPA.

Rude unhelpful staff
Stopped over at BMW Supertech pinetown where i had very arrogant, rude and unhelpful service. Accusations made on how i drove my vehicle and my knowledge of my own vehicle and cars in general undermined as i am a female.

Thank you but if this is what BMW promotes keep your vehicle and brand. Sad in this day and age where a world class brand treats customers this way yet be sexist. We are in 2019 wake up!

Metal to metal - life at danger
I took my car for service where when i received it I had to fight for a week with them to say my car is making a grinding noise when i break so how can they return my car from service like that unacceptable. Few days later thanks to this i was in an accident.

Car was fixed and due to family emergency i had to drive from jhb to durban wherw i was referred to superquick on my way as this noise was getting worst.

At first they mentioned discs are worn out and when i said to them then why not change it as car is in motorplan and i havent drove it for a month and before that it was in for a service at bmw northcliff the whole story changed where they didnt help me.

I am now in durban and went to a reputable mechanic who wrote me a report and took pictures that discs are worn out bmw just keep changing break pads.

Unacceptable to put my life in danger and undermine my knowledge of cars as im a female.

Metal to metal is dangerous.

Still hoping that bmw will acknowledge this and as a loyal customer give me some better service

Disguted with how such a brand can treat loyal customers this way

service at BMW in Pieitermaritzburg
Took our 320d (2010 model - 206 000km)for a service as the service light on the dash was appearing, but car actually fine and driving well.
Long story short, we still dont have the car back after 4 weeks; the car having gone back twice during that time, them telling us that they put it on their machine and found nothing wrong the first two times. Now we're told that the engine is blown and it will cost R100 400.00 to repair. the car wouldn't have even sold for that price.
Shocking service , buggered our car up, (denying it of course) and now we have to pay?? bull....

Service
Today, I took my car to BMW Midrand for a service. They call me to advise me that they can't unscrew the lock nut on my tyers and they will charge me R2000.00 to break the lock nut. I mean I bought that car with those nuts from them. What a bad way milking your clients. I am very disappointed.

I have had endless problems with the locknut as well, especially when changing tyres or brake pads. No joy or help from BMW.

Tempory plates
I have complained to the CAPE TOWN SMG branch yesterday about their poor service and empty promises as my temporary plates that was issued to my car three weeks ago is expiring today, I even copied customer care!!!GUESS WHAT? No no-one even bothered to acknowledge my complaint.

Capetown Claremont service center cheating!!!!
I drived BMW more then 10 years and I really like but there was horrible exprince this time...

I had really the worst experience in Capetown Claremont service center.
My vehicle had 100,000km service and maintence plan and I brought it just before 100,000km to Claremont service center.
One of service staff told me that he will check everything which must be done within ********km.
Especially he commented that he will change engine oil and filter and break pad and etc
because it is comming service within 1000km.
Service was delayed about one week which had never happend before.
After one week he didn't print out what they done which must be signed all the time.
and he told me that they changed engine oil and all the filter and etc.
I belived and came back ....

After service I drived less then 1000km and I saw that I must change engine oil again.
and I complained to the service department staff that he didn't change engine oil.
He ignored me and just is telling that he didn't told me about it and he can not help at that time.

Brifly
BMW don't care with customer if vehicle service plan is expired?
They delayed and didn't print invoice and explain and cheat with me ...

Good day all,

I had a very bad experience with Auric Auto BMW Claremont cape town.
My car went in 4 oil leak which i called in to have it booked in so car went in, please note my car drove very smooth like a jet i would say to my friends. Car came back after Auric Auto bmw Claremont worked on it now it drives like a truck makes loud noises cant even pull away from the stop street and switches off. The manager told me there is more things wrong with the car i must pay a additional R9500 to fix the car back to how it was when i took it to them can u believe that i took my car in because i noticed that there was a oil leak they had my car there 4 a service and never picked up the leak. So now the manager said he cant fix my car for free. What a chick my car was not in such a bad state that its in now my gosh i am soo very angry i was intending to purchase a new Bmw but i have changed my mind now i will rather get me a Land drover van not Bmw again.
I AM VERY UPSET WONT PURCHASE A BMW AGAIN.
